Flamingo Rose

Alessandro Michele’s Gucci “Garden” Collection resonated with me in a special kind of way. It’s like the feeling of walking through a gallery and strolling past painting after sculpture after portrait and then suddenly stopping in front of the one piece that speaks to you. There’s a primal aspect to his latest work that draws so heavily from the natural world.

Feeling inspired, I wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of nature that is unique to our little paradise here in South Florida. Flamingo Rose is a piece that captures the feeling of being under those special pink sunsets where everything is warm and composed. There’s a calming order to it all, a heaven on earth sensation where you melt into the moment and feel at peace. Like the flamingos you are completely natural but still elegant, refined in your presence and being.
