Gratitude, Growth & The Girls Who Showed Up

This trip was a huge step outside my comfort zone.

It was the furthest I’ve ever traveled from our home base in Delray Beach to do a trunk show. New location, new energy, new people. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Would the work resonate? Would the pieces connect the way they do at home? I packed everything with a hopeful heart, but if I’m being honest, I felt nervous.

The first few days were slow. There were moments I found myself second-guessing the decision to come. I started wondering if maybe I had pushed too far out of my comfort zone. It’s easy to feel confident when you’re surrounded by a familiar audience—but in an entirely new setting, you feel exposed in a different way.

And then something shifted.

Word started to spread. Conversations started to spark. And one by one, the right people began to find us. The women who came brought stories, kindness, style, and such an incredible openness to the work. There was laughter, real connection, and this shared sense that we were part of something special.

The cause that brought us there—the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County—remained at the heart of it all. Thanks to the support of the community and the sales made during the show, we were able to make a generous donation to the organization. Knowing that the trip helped contribute to something so meaningful gave everything a deeper purpose.

I also want to take a moment to thank my husband, James. This was his first trunk show with me, and through every stage—planning, packing, setting up, and showing up—he supported me with every ounce of his being. His calm energy, encouragement, and presence meant the world to me. My gratitude for him is eternal.

By the end of the week, what started as a business trip became something much more. We met beautiful souls who reminded us why we create in the first place. We left inspired, grateful, and more connected than ever to our mission as a gallery.

To everyone who supported us, showed up, brought a friend, told someone about us, or even stopped to say hello—thank you. You helped turn the chance I took into a moment of growth. And I’ll carry the energy of this experience with me as we head into this next season of work.

We’re back in the gallery now full of ideas, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.

With love,

Amanda
