Introspection & Perseverance: A Numbered Series

I am pleased to announce the premiere of a project I’ve poured a lot of heart in to, “Introspection & Perseverance: A Numbered Series” for the first Friday of the December Art Walk event. On December 2nd from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, please join me at the Walker Romaine Gallery for the first look at this powerful set.

While I don’t think I could word this in a way that would capture the same freedom of expression I have in the work itself, I wanted to give you a feeling for what inspired this series. These are figures that are both vulnerable and powerful. They are proud without arrogance. They do not rebel for the sake of it. Their defiance is merely in choosing to go on as they truly are.
